Q
What was Thomson’s plum pudding model?
A
He discovered the electron, and he knew that atoms had no overall charge. So, his model had negatively-charged electrons are placed inside a positively-charged sphere.

Q
What was Nagaoka’s model?
A
Nagaoka disagreed with Thomson because he said that electrons cannot be spread inside a positively-charged sphere. So, his model consisted of electrons orbiting around the positively-charged sphere in rings outside. This resembled the planet Saturn.
