Checklists Flashcards
When testing over speed, Governors and rudder boost , what do you run the each prop lever up to in RPM?
1500 to 1610 RPM
What is different about the overspeed, governor rudder boost test on the whiskey from the fox
On the whiskey, after you get the pedal, kick you press the auto pilot, trim disconnect button to the first level and make sure you see the rudder boost off light
During low pitch stops and primary governors check what do you set power levers to in RPM
 1500 RPM
During the low pitch stops and primary governors check what does the prop rpm stabilize at once you release the low pitch stop switch
1150 to 1250 rpm
During the auto feather check what do you set power levers to
22% torque
On the auto feather check which torques are you looking for when you retard the power levers
At 17% torque the opposite annunciator extinguishes, and at 10% torque both annunciators are extinguished and prop starts to feather
On the engine, autoignition check what do you advance power levers to
Above 17% torque
What should the volt meter read when connected to external power?
27.5 to 28.4 V.
During start after condition levers are low idle, which should left and right prop rpm be
1050 minimum rpm
During the electrical system check on the before taxi checklist. What should the triple fed bus read on the volt meter
26.5 to 28 V.
During the electrical system check on the before taxi checklist which should the right gen and left gen read on the volt meter
27.5 to 29 V within one volt of each other.
What do you do if there’s no ITT rise observed within 10 seconds after moving condition lever to low idle
Move condition, lever to cut off and release ignition and engine start switch to off and allow five minutes for fuel to drain and starter to cool
What do you do with the condition levers after you get both engines started
Go to low idle and look for left and right prop RPM of 1050 minimum and look for the left and right prop pitch lights and check the volts of the left. Gen is between 27.5 and 29.
