if engine starts:

  • throttle 1700 RPM for a few minutes
  • engine shutdown and inspect

if engine fails to start:

  • cranking continue 2-3 minutes
  • master off
  • mags off
  • fuel shutoff off
  • fire extinguisher obtain
  • evacuate
  • fire extinguish
  • fire damage inspect

Low oil pressure

A

Si basse pression d’huile + température d’huile normale : il est possible que le manomètre d’huile ou la soupape de décharge fonctionnent mal. Une fuite dans la conduite menant à la jauge n’est pas nécessairement une cause pour un atterrissage de précaution immédiat, car un orifice dans cette conduite empêchera une perte soudaine d’huile du carter moteur. Il serait toutefois conseillé d’atterrir à l’aéroport e plus proche pour inspecter la source du problème.

Si basse pression d’huile + augmentation de la température de l’huile : il y a de bonnes raisons de soupçonner qu’une panne moteur est imminente. Réduisez immédiatement la puissance du moteur et sélectionnez un terrain d’atterrissage forcé approprié. Utilisez uniquement la puissance minimale requise pour atteindre le point d’atterrissage souhaité.
