Believes— these are mental and verbal process which reflect our knowledge and assessment of product or services
Values— these serve as guide line for what is appropriate or what is right or wrong
Customs—behavior that is generally acceptable in a particular society, more special in particular situation or major events like in funeral or marriage

What are High and low context cultures
A
- Low context cultures – rely on spoken and written language for meaning. Senders of messages encode the words used to gain a good understanding of the intended message.
High context cultures use and interpret more of the elements surrounding the message to develop their understanding of the message. In high context cultures the social importance, knowledge of the person and the social setting add extra information and will be perceived by the message receivers
