- He was completely uncompromising, after the revolt of 1917 he is widely believed to have sanction the execution of the Tsar and all of his family because they were the epitome of tyranny

- The flag of USSR had the hammer and sickle to reflect the struggle of the workers and the flag on the farm was the hoof and horn
- It was perhaps ironic that he stated”in fighting man we must not resemble them” as this is exactly what happened later

- Napoleon
- Lust for power/Reputation for getting his own way
- Used Propoganda and terror to achieve this
- He did not fight to remove tyranny as Old Major did, he fought to become a dictator himself
- The first thing he did when he won the revolution on the farm was to take away the animals milk and give it to the PIGS
- Stalin set up the KGB to force his rule
- On the farm Snowball stole 9 puppies to train as killer dogs and force confessions
- He gained further loyalty by setting himself up as an idealist working for change
- On the farm Napoleon gained control under the guise of improving animals lives
- Stalin introduced a 5 year plan to improve industry and agriculture
- On the farm Napoleon tried to build a windmill to make the animals lives easier
- Stalin ordered lenins body to be placed in tomb
- On the farm Napoleon unearthed Old Majors skull
- Stalin introduced the order of Lenin
- On the farm Napoleon introduced the order of the Green banner, thanks in part to animals like Boxer who swallowed all of the dictators lies
- Stalins biggest crime was the fact he became more like Tsar Nicholas II/Jones and perhaps worse, sleeping, eating and living like he did in the palace
