the main figure or one of the most prominent figures in a real situation.
antagonist
a person who actively opposes or is hostile to someone or something

enipiphany
when a character experiences a moment of self-realization about their opinions, beliefs, or behavior after learning additional information about themselves or other characters.
round Characters
a character in a fictional work with depth or a complex personality.
flat characters
never deviate from their rather simple traits.
stock characters
a type of character in a narrative whom audiences recognize across many narratives or as part of a storytelling tradition or convention.
direct characterzation
happens when the author explicitly tells the reader what he or she wants us to learn about the character.
indirect charactezation
a type of literary device that reveals details about a character without stating them explicitly.
