- Rural way of life
- most people worked/lived on farms and small towns
What were the the advantages of the south
They were familiar with lots of weapons
They had history of producing military leaders
A large share of veterans that fought in the Mexican war were in the south
And the fought on their own ground
What were the norths advantages
The produced 90% of the country’s weapons, cloth, shoes, and iron.
Also they produce 50% of the country’s corn and 80% of the country’s wheat.
Also the north had far more railroads, canals,and roads then the confederacy

He though it was wrong but kept it to himself because he didn’t know if people would get mad at him

They played on there ground so they had advantages

They had good food, clothes, and money

How did the women & African Americans helped in the war
The women washed clothes repaired cloths brought out buckets of water to them
Then the African Americans got out of doing their work to fight, that’s how they got free
