What are the two basic types of User Accounts?
Administrator and Standard User
What are the 5 built-in accounts?
Administrator, DefaultAccount, Guest, HomeGroupUser$, Initial User
User Account Control (UAC)
Allows you to manage user accounts and change user passwords. It also provides an additional level of security by limiting the level of access that users have when performing tasks.
What can you do in the Profile tab of a user’s Properties dialog box?
You can specify a profile path, logon script, and home folder
What is a Profile?
User profiles contain info about the W10 environment for a specific user
Local and Roaming Profiles
Local user profiles are only available on the computer they were created, whereas a roaming profile is stored on a network server allowing them to be accessed regardless of the client computer.
Mandatory Profiles
A profile that can’t be modified by the user. Only members of the Administrators group can manage mandatory profiles.
