Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA).

Resource Conservation and Recovery Act RCRA
__ ___ ___ ACT- approved by congress in 1974 and established safety standards for public drinking water. covers water sources like lakes, rivers, springs, streams, and underground wells. EPA doesn’t monitor private or commercial wells that serve fewer than 25 people.
Safe Water Drinking Act
___ ___ ACT- water act that deals with ponds, navigable waters, MS river, Great Lakesnsets standards for sewer treatment plants and surface waters. SDWA governs clean water from the original water source .
Clean Water Act
___ ___ ACT- governs air polluting emissions from buildings, cars, airplanes, etc. CAA gave EPA authority to give nationwide standards to regulate air pollutants.
Clean Air ACt
