When finding arc length, angular speed, and linear speed what should angles or answers be in? degrees or radians?
RADIANS!!
What is the equation for arc length?
S(arc length) = r (radius) * thata (angle)
What is the linear speed equation?
V (velocity) = r (radius) * omega (w)
What is the equation for angular speed?
W (omega) = thata (angle) / t (time)
What is the equation to find area of a sector?
A= 1/2 * r^2 * thata (angle)
What are the three Pythagorean identities?
Sin^2 thata + cos^s thata = 1
Tan^2 thata + 1 = sec^2 thata
Cot^2 thata + 1 = csc^2 thata
What does cos (-x) = ?
What about sec (-x) = ?
Cos (-x) = cos (x)
Sec (-x) = sec (x)
What does sin(-x) = ?
What about csc(-x) = ?
Tan(-x) = ?
Cot(-x) = ?
