Q

Define autotroph, consumer, heterotroph, detritivore

A

Autotrophs use energy from the environment to fuel the assemble of simple inorganic compounds into complex organic Molocuels. They make their own food and are called producers.
Heterotroph: Organisms that rely on other organisms for their energy and food supply.
Consumer: Heterotrophs
Detritovers: Are mites earthworms snails and crabs they feed on plant and animal remains and other dead matter.

7
Q

List the three processes that occur in the carbon cycle.

A

respiration of co2 and volcanic eruption go into atmosphere….
Plants take the co2 and make food for humans and animals to eat.
Then we pass and then it decomposes and is brought back into the atmosphere.

Q

Define niche. How can similar organisms live in the same niche.

A

Niche is a full range of physical and biological condition in which an organisms lives and the way in which the organism uses those conditions. Bull frogs live near ponds and fish live near ponds for the reason they obtain food.
