Briefly describe the Technology Ring and the meaning behind the design.
The design consists of a continuous pattern of five raised gears followed by a blank segment in which a raised Canadian maple leaf appears. The five gears symbolize the integration of the engineering/applied science team which is made up of: tradesperson, technician, technologist, engineer and scientist/researcher.
