someone sent by a government to represent them, usually in another country

exclusive ownership or control of something. Spain’s monopoly on trade with the colonies meant that the colonies could not trade with anyone else.

public income; money that is collected or paid into a government’s treasuries

to gradually make someone or something weaker.
Abdicate
to give up the position of being a king or queen; to renounce the throne.

Anything or anyone related to capitalism.

A system in which the general population elects people to act or speak on their behalf in a parliament, Congress, etc.
Republicanism
Having to do with a form of government in which the head is not the monarch but rather is elected by the general population.
