A
Often have hemiplegia or hemiparesis and sensory deficits

Oral Mechanism Findings
A
- Unilateral lower facial weakness both at rest and movement
- Unilateral tongue weaness
- Normal jaw strength or some contralateral jaw weakness
- Unilateral palatal weakness
- May have dysphagia

Speech Clinical Findings
A
- Imprecise consonants
- Slow rate
- Irregular AMRs
- Slow AMRs
- Hoarseness/Harshness
- Reduced loudness
- Intelligibility mildly affected

A
Degenerative, inflammatory, and toxic-metabolic diseases, strokes
