Q

What is the load shift equation?

A

m = (M x c)/D

m = load being added

M = Mass of aircraft with everything in it

c = change in CG

D = Distance of movement of mass

Q

What is the load change equation and how is it used?

A

m = (M x c)/D

m = Mass of load added/removed

M = Mass of aircraft (Old/new (depending on New/old CG))

c = Change in CG

D = Distance between load change point and new/old CG

If you know old CG use new mass.

If you know new CG use old mass.
