If condition persists:

If manual control is not possible:
(c) POWER_ lever (affected engine)_ — IDLE.
(d) LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
BUCS Fail
- LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
- APU — ON.
- EMERG ENG(S) SHUTDOWN.
Stabilization Equipment Malfunction
- FMC_ release button_ — Press.
- **FMC **— Re-engage unaffected FMC axes (A/C UTIL page).
Both Generators Fail/Complete Loss Of Electrical Power
(1) **GEN 1 **and GEN 2 — Reset Pilot GEN RST panel.
If condition persists:
(2) LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Loss of Tail Rotor Thrust in Cruise Flight: Continued Flight Not Possible
- Collective reduce (compromise between rate of turn and rate of descent.
- Wing Stores Jettison — As appropriate.
- Minimize rate of descent (10 to 20 feet above touchdown).
- POWER_ levers_ — OFF_ (5 to 10 feet above touchdown)_.
Loss of Tail Rotor Thrust at Low Airspeed/Hover
- Collective reduce (compromise between rate of turn and rate of descent.
- Wing Stores Jettison — As appropriate.

IHADSS/HDU Failure

Abort Start Procedures
(a) POWER_ lever_ — OFF.
(b) _ENG START _switch — IGN ORIDE for 30 seconds and TGT is below 540º C.

(a) CHOP_ button_ — Reset only if an engine chop warning message is present. Reset may be accomplished by either crewmember.

(1) Airspeed — 100 KTAS maximum.
(2) Slected STORES JETTISON buttons — Press to ARM.
(3) JETT button — Press.
Autorotate
The term AUTOROTATE is defined as adjusting the flight controls as necessary to establish an autorotational descent and landing.
Loss of Tail Rotor Thrust in Cruise Flight: Continued Flight Possible
- Airspeed — 100 KTAS minimum (until 10 to 20 feet above touchdown).
- Wing Stores Jettison — As appropriate.
- POWER_ levers_ — Retard as necessary (5 to 10 feet above touchdown).
Dual DP Failure
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
IHADSS Stale
(1) **NVS MODE **switch — FIXED.

The term EMERG ENG SHUTDOWN is defined as engine shutdown without delay.
POWER lever (affected engine) — OFF.

Actioning the ZEROIZE switch zeroes-out the following classified data:
- COMSEC variables
- FM1 and FM2 Hopsets and Lockout sets
- HF radio
- HQ2 MWOD from radio, and SP Non-Volatile Memory (NVM)
- All SOI tables/data
- Mode 4
- IDM network parameters
- IDM team member indications in the IDM and DP NVM
- EGI 1/2 GUV’s
- NAV data
Engine Fire: In Flight
(a) EMERG ENG SHUTDOWN (affected engine) — when conditions permit.
(b) Illuminated ENG FIRE button — Press and RDY light illuminates.
(c) FIRE DISCH_ button(s)_ — Press.
(d) LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Single Engine Failure - Low Altitude / Low Airspeed and Cruise
(a) Airspeed — Adjust as appropriate.
(b) Wing Stores Jettison — As appropriate.
(c) LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
Engine Compressor Stall
(a) Collective — Reduce.
If condition persists:
(b) **POWER **lever (affected engine) — Retard.
If TGT decreases and there is no further evidence of a stall:
(c) POWER_ lever (affected engine)_ — FLY.
If stall condition recurs:
(d) POWER_ lever (affected engine)_ — IDLE.
(e) LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
Wing Stores Jettison: All Armament Wing Stores
(1) Airspeed — 130 KTAS maximum.
(2) Collective JETT button — Press.
Single DP Operation
(1) NVS SELECT_ Switch_ — Reselect (PNVS or TADS).
OR
(2) Crewmember (not on controls) — Assume control.
Electrical Fire in Flight
(1) GEN 1 and GEN 2 — OFF (SYS page).
(2) LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Land As Soon As Possible
The term LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE is defined as landing at the nearest suitable landing area (e.g. open field) without delay. The primary consideration is to ensure the survival of the occupants.
Emergency Egress
(1) Helmet visors — Down.
(2) Area around helicopter — Clear of personnel.
(3) CANOPY JETTISON handle — Turn 90º, release, then push to jettison canopy.
Ditching (Power Off)
- AUTOROTATE — Apply full collective to decay rotor RPM as helicopter settles.
- Canopies — JETTISON_ prior to entering water_.
- Cyclic — Position in direction of roll.
- Exit when main rotor has stopped.
Stabilator Auto and Manual Mode Failure
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
EGI In-Flight Misalignment
- Position update — Perform. Monitor POSITION CONFIDENCE.
If misalignment continues:
- Airspeed — Adjust to 80 KTAS or less.
- Stabilator — Monitor Position. Manually control as required.
- LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
Engine Fire: On Ground
(a) EMERG ENG(S) SHUTDOWN.
(b) Illuminated ENG FIRE button — Press and RDY light illuminates.
(c) FIRE DISCH button(s) — Press.
Primary Hydraulic Pressure Low and Utility Hydraulic Pressure Low
The EUFD will display **HYDRAULIC FAIL **message.
(1) EMERG HYD button — Press ON.
(2) LAND WITHOUT DELAY.
(3) EMERG ENG(S) SHUTDOWN.
Pressing an illuminated FIRE button:
- Arms the fire extinguishing system
- Shuts off fuel to the indicated engine or APU
- Shuts off bleed air from the indicated engine or APU
- Closes the fire louvers to the indicated engine
- Stops the voice warning message
- Extinguishes the MSTR WARN light
Engine 1 or 2 Overspeed - NP Failed High
(a) Collective — Adjust to maintain NR within limits.
If condition persists:
(b) POWER_ lever (affected engine)_ — Retard to equalize torque.
(c) LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
BUCS On
- LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
- APU — ON.
- EMERG ENG(S) SHUTDOWN.
APU Compartment Fire: On Ground
(a) APU** — **OFF.
(b) Illuminated APU FIRE button — Press and RDY light illuminates.
(c) FIRE DISCH_ button(s)_ — Press.
Ditching (Power On)
- Approach to hover.
- Canopies — JETTISON prior to entering water.
- Pilot shoulder harness — Lock.
- CPG — Exit helicopter.
- Hover downwind to a safe distance.
- **POWER **levers — OFF.
- Perform hovering autorotation — Apply full collective to decay RPM as helicopter settles.
- Cyclic — Position in direction of roll.
- Exit when main rotor has stopped.
Land As Soon As Practicable
The term LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE is defined as landing at a suitable landing area. The primary consideration is the urgency of the emergency.
Main Transmission Input Drive Clutch Failure: On Ground
Indications that clutch has failed to engage:
- EMERG ENG SHUTDOWN (affected engine only).
- Check NG is less than 10% (affected engine).
- Normal engine shutdown — Perform.
Indications that clutch has failed to disengage:
EMERG ENG(S) SHUTDOWN (both engines simultaneously).
Smoke and Fume Elimination
(1) Airspeed — Slow to 20 KTAS maximum.
(2) Canopy door (affected crew station) — Open to intermediate position.
(3) LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Wing Stores Jettison: Selected Armament Wing Stores
(1) Airspeed — 130 KTAS maximum.
(2) Selected STORES JETTISON buttons — Press to ARM.
(3) JETT button — Press.
Fuselage Fire On Ground
(1) EMERG ENG(S) SHUTDOWN.
(2) APU** — **OFF_ (if applicable)_.
Land Without Delay
The term LAND WITHOUT DELAY is defined as a landing in which the primary consideration is continued control of the aircraft and survival of the occupants. It is meant to be more urgent than Land As Soon As Possible.
Dual TRU Failure (Transformer Rectifier 1 and Transformer Rectifier 2)
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Autorotative Glide Chart
Minimum rate of descent airspeed: 77 KTAS
Maximum glide distance airspeed: 107 KTAS
Stabilator Automatic Mode Failure
a. REST button — Press.
If automatic mode is not restored:
b. Use manual stabilator control.
Main Transmission Input Drive Clutch Failure: In Flight
(a) POWER_ lever (affected engine)_ — IDLE.
If **NP **(affected engine) is below NR (indicating the clutch is disengaged):
(b) EMERG ENG SHUTDOWN (affected engine).
(c) LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
If NP (affected engine) does not drop below NR (indicating the clutch has failed to disengage):
(d) LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
(e) EMERG ENG(S) SHUTDOWN (both engines simultaneously).
Single Generator and Single RTRU Failure
(1) Affected GEN 1 or GEN 2 — Reset Pilot GEN RST panel.
If condition persists:
(2) LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
Intermittent GEARBOX VIBRATION
If GEARBOX VIBRATION occurs twice in one flight - LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Solid GEARBOX VIBRATION
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
