B&E
Breaking or opening something in order to enter the premises w/o permission with the intent to commit an indictable offence
Colour of right
The honest belief that a person owns or has permission to use an item
Controlled substance
Any drug listed in schedules 1-5 of the controlled drugs and substances act
Culpable homicide
A killing for which the accused can be held legally responsible
Disorderly house
A common, bawdy, betting, or gaming house
First degree murder
killing someone after planning it out, or a peace officer
Fraud
intentionally deceiving someone in order to cause a loss of property money, or service
Homicide
The killing of another human being, direct or indirectly
Hybrid offence
can either go to summary (less) or indictable (more)
Indictable offence
a crime that is more serious than a summary conviction, has heavier penalties
Infanticide
Natural mother kills her >1 yr old child, and mother must be unstable
Manslaughter
any culpable homicide not classified as murder of infanticide
