reproaches
Express to (someone) one’s disapproval of or disappointment in their actions.
e.g
He was surprised by this absence of reproaches.
bewildered
Perplexed and confused; very puzzled.
e.g
He stood there all bewildered, the glass globe held arrested in mid-air.
