Grew crops and hunted, donated crops as tax

Mask-makers, feather workers, gold smiths, fine goods in general

By restricting them from doing/learning different things.

Success on the battlefield. Capturing 4 enemies will move you up.
What is conscrption?
Mandatory military service.
What was the goal of Aztec education?
To produce citizens who contributed.

Yes, if abused noble would be executed, could go up in social status, escapes, wins freedom
