What is Pinot noir?

It is very fussy about where it is grown which makes it a difficult variety for grape growers. However it is very easy to drink. Unlike some other black grape varieties many Pinot noirs have soft light tannins and do not need time in the bottle to evolve attractive flavours. Enjoyable to drink in all stages of life.
