Q

What is the difference between a Tendon and a aponeurosis?

A

A tendon is a continuation of the connective tissue that goes into the muscle and its distributed which allows it to contract.
Aponeurosis is the connective tissue that some muscles connect to instead of tendons. Ex: linea Alba.

Q

Which is the muscle that allows for twitching of the skin?

A
17
Q

Which is the muscle that allows for twitching of the skin?

A

The Cutaneous Muscle

18
Q

Muscle responsible for chewing, located in the cheek area of the skull and its the most powerful of the chewing muscles. Its main action is to close the jaw

A

Masseter muscle

19
Q

which 2 muscles extend the head and neck, and are located on the dorsal part of the neck?

A

Splenius and Trapezius

20
Q

Which muscle can extends the head and neck and also pulls the front leg forward? It is a fairly large muscle that runs from proximal area of humerus up to the base of the skull?

A

Brachiocephalicus

21
Q

Neck flexor muscle its smaller it extends from the sternum to the base of the skull and acts to flex the head and neck?

A

Sternocephalicus muscle
