What is IoT?
IoT is the Internet of Things. It is the phenomenon of connecting the physical world to the internet. In IoT, physical devices are connected to sensors that collect data on the operation, location, and state of a device.

What is Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID)?
It is the use of radio-frequency waves to identify objects.
What is Cloud Computing?
A style of computing in which dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources are provided over the internet. Users need not have knowledge of, experience in, or control over the technology infrastructures in the cloud that supports them.

What is Virtulization?
The creation of a virtual version of something like an operating system or a server. Can be done in all three areas of computing: Network virtualization, Storage Virtualization, and Server Virtualization

What is Location Based Analytics?
The use of geospatial data to make better decisions in managing operations, targeting customers, promotions, etc.
What is Geospatial Analytics?
The use of map-based visualizations to view aggregated data and gain more meaningful location-based insights.
What does GIS stand for and Why is it Relevant?
GIS stands for Geographic Information Systems. It is relevant because they are used to manage data linked to a location in retail and healthcare industries.
