Why is driving a privilege?
You get your drivers license based on the skills you have and the rules you agree to follow. If you fail to demonstrate this ability, you will be issued traffic tickets, or even have your license suspended or revoked
What is a habitual offender?
a person who has his license to operate a motor vehicle suspended three times for violations occurring within a 3-year period.
How many months is the license suspended for a driver (over 21) with a BAC of .08%-.10%?
Three months
How many months is the license suspended for a driver (over 21) with a BAC of .10% or higher?
Seven months to one year

What is the implied consent law?
it is required that a driver submit to a breath test when arrested for driving while intoxicated
What happens if a driver refuses to submit to a breath test?
It equals to a BAC of .10% for the first offence
What will happen if a driver already has a license suspension, and is involved in a collision that causes bodily harm to another person?
You´ll get a fine and you will be suspended in a minimum of 45 days of jail sentence.
How many points within a 24 month time period will result in a loss of license?
12 or more

What is the point system?
A system of penalizing drivers of motor vehicles for traffic violations by assigning points for each type of violation and revoking the driver’s license if a certain number of points are accrued.
