abstinence
refraining from eating meat on days and times when fasting is required on special feats, such as Ash Wednesday and Lent
adultery
marital infidelity where at least one of whom is in a marriage/committed relationship and has sexual relations with another outside of a committed relationship
annulment
an ecclesiastical tribunal or Church court may declare a valid sacramental marriage with a baptized man and a baptized woman to be “null and void” when it is declared not authentic

love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, generosity, gentleness, faithfulness, modesty, self-control, chastity
holiness
a state of goodness in which a person lives in communion with God and with the help of God’s grace, and the action of the Holy Spirit and a life of prayer is freed from sin and evil
homosexuality
sexual attraction or orientation toward persons of the same sex and sexual acts between persons of the same sex; morally wrong because it violates God’s purpose for human sexual activity
incest
the intimate relations between relatives or in-laws; corrupts family life and devalues those who commit this sin
lust
a capital sin that is an excessive desire for earthly pleasures, particularly sexual desires
marriage
