Q

What happened between America and Japan?

A

Japan started to invade many of its surrounding countries such as china because japan was a small country and wanted food and raw materials. Because of this FDR vowed not to sell any oil or steel to japan and this angered the japanese as america was where they got most of their oil and steel from

Because of this, japan planned a secret attack on the US ships ( it was bombed ) in pearl harbour this is because they thought it would take a year for the americans to recover their ships and during this time they could create an empire that the americans won’t be able to defeat.

Because of this Britain and America declared war on japan but then germany and italy (japan’s allies) declared war on america
