  • Toxic if unprepared
  • Used for morning sickness w/ other herbs

Directs rebellious Qi down & stops vomiting (harmonizes the ST)
Dissipates nodules & reduces clumps (plum pit qi)
Used with sorghum to treat insomnia w/ ST symptoms (nausia, hiccups, belching)

  • Most appropriate for cold disorders
  • Wrap in cloth bag before decocting

Promotes dissipation of pathogenic water & descends LU qi & reduces phlegm
