A form of corporate philanthropy and which charitable activities reinforce strategic business goals.

A form of strategic philanthropy and which charitable contributions are based on purchases of a product.

Mark Caskey versus Nike
Nike accused of exploiting the way to workers who made it shoes and clothing. Caskey sued Nike in 1998 for false advertising, alleging it had made untrue statements about it’s labor practices.
Jeffrey Ballenger
Investigator sent to Indonesia to watch Nike contractors and gather information. Found people are working 10 1/2 hour days at $1.03 per day or $.14 an hour.
