Angina
A common symptom of coronary artery disease characterized by chest pain, tightness, or radiating pain resulting from a lack of blood flow to the heart muscle.
Myocardial ischemia
The result of an imbalance between myocardial oxygen supply and demand, most often caused by artherosclerotic plaques that narrow and sometime completely block the blood supply to the heart
Dyspnea
Difficult or labored breathing
Orthopnea
Dyspnea in a reclined position
Paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea
Attacks of severe shortness of breath and coughing that generally occur at night
Syncope
Fainting
Edema
Swelling resulting from an excessive accumulation of fluid in the tissues of the body
Tachycardia
Elevated heart rate over 100 bpm
Intermittent claudication
Pain sensations or cramping in the lower extremities
