The four laws was that the port of Boston had to be closed, the power of the government increased, the upper house of the Massachusetts legislature was abolished, and the Quartering act of 1765 was strengthened.

The french and indian war started because of land. The result of it was that France lost its North American possessions, Britain is left with a large debt, Colonists develop a sense of unity, Colonists begin settling in the Ohio River Valley, and Native Americans resist colonists settling in the Ohio river Valley.

The war started in May 1763. It started because Pontiac, a native american leader, attacked British forts and settlements on the throughout area. Then, the British attacked the Native Americans that Pontiac led. Pontiac continued to fight, but by the fall of 1764, the war ended.

The Battle of Lexington and Concord.

A

The battle of Lexington and Concord is also called the “shot heard ‘round the world.” The battle started April 18, 1775. 77 minutemen were in line waiting for the British to arrive. When they did, the British commander ordered the minutemen to go home. They refused. Suddenly, a shot rang out. Nobody knows who shot it, but it was the first shot of the American Revolution.

The Olive Branch Petition

A

The olive branch petition was a document sent to King George. It stated that the colonists were loyal to the king and it asked the king to stop all fighting so all disputes between colonists and Britain can be solved peacefully. King George didn’t bother to answer to the petition.

The Battle at Fort Ticonderoga

A

The battle of fort Ticonderoga was when the colonists did a surprise attack there. The British were guarding it, but the colonists took over and got cannons back to Boston to get ready for the Battle of Bunker Hill.
