Adjusting the sound post.
Cutting and fitting the bridge.
Dressing or planing the fingerboard.

Read hearing the bow.
List seven or eight aspects of instrument maintenance for which the player should be responsible.
Don’t expose the instrument to extreme temperatures.
Provide humidifying device in a dry climate.
Protect instrument against hard knocks and jolts. Check for cracks and openings.
White rosin dust from the strings, Instrument and bowl with a saw cloth before returning the instrument to the case. Polish the instrument and bullet occasionally.
Check the tilt of the bridge; check the bridge feet.
Check strings to see if they are faults, frayed or unraveling.
See if the tuning pegs work smoothly. Apply peg dope if needed.
Check the tailpiece gut and tail hanger.
What are some causes of rattles in buzzes?
A button or piece of jewelry on the wearing wearers apparel which touches the instrument.
A loose Tuner.
A loose chin rest.
Tailpiece contacting the chin rest.
Loose purfling.
Open seam
A crack in the instrument.
String to close to the fingerboard.
Describe some of the problems that can occur to a bow.
Hair is so short that the bow cannot be loosened or so long that the boat cannot be tightened.
An entire Hank of hair pulls out of the tip.
A number of individual hairs pulls out of the tip.
The bow becomes warped.
The tip brakes when the bow it’s first tightening or after some use.
