- Large enough and configured to allow a person to enter and perform work
- Has limited or restricted means for entry or exit.
- Is not designed for continuous member occupancy.

A
- Flammable gas, vapor, or mist in excess of ten percent of its LEL
- Airborne combustible dust that meets or exceeds it’s it’s LEL
- Atmospheric Oxygen concentration below 19.5 or above 23.5%
- potential excess of the permissible exposure limit
- Or any other IDLH

- inwardly converging walls or floor that slopes down and tapers
- Ready removal of suddenly disabled member is difficult due to location and/or size of access openings
