Form tool
Used to create data entry forms for customer, employees, products and other type of tables.
Record Source
is the table or query that supples the records for a form or report.
Stacked layout
Displays fields in a vertical column for one record at a time
Tabular layout
Displays data horizontally across the page.
Controls
The text boxes. buttons, labels and other tools you use to add, edit and display the data in form or report
Layout Controls
Provides guide to help keep control aligned horizontally and vertically and gives the form neat appearance.
Form view
User interface primarily used for data entry and modification. Changes cannot be made.
Layout View
Enables you to make changed to the layout while simultaneously viewing the data in the form.
Design View
Enables you to change advanced design settings that are not available in layout view.
Split form
Combines two views of the same record source by default, the top section is displayed in a stacked layout and bottom is displayed in tabular layout.
Multiple item form
Displays multiple records in a tabular layout similar to a table data sheet view
Theme
A set of colour, font and graphic that can be applied to forms
Report
A document that displays information from a database in a format that output meaningful information to its reader.
Report tool
Used to create a tabular report based on the selected table or query.
Report Wizard
Prompts you for input in a series of step to generate a customized report.
