Heat cramps
Least heart related problem in which certain muscles contract involuntarily and cause pain
Heat exhaustion
Condition characterized by profuse sweating dizziness and extreme weakness
Heat stroke
Medical emergency characterized by hot, dry skin and rising body temperature
Hypothermia
Excessive decline in body temperature
Warm up
10–15 minute exercise to prepare the body for vigorous exercise
Cool down
10-15 minute mild exercise following vigorous exercise allows the body and heart rate to return normal
Shin splint
Inflammation of the membrane on the front of the bones in the lower leg
Stitch in the side
Sharp pain in the side just under the ribs
Diaphragm
Large muscle in the upper abdomen
Hyperthermia
Increase in body temperature with the reduction of body fluids
