Chapter 4 - Spreadsheet applications Flashcards
What is a worksheet ?
A grid in the form of rows and columns. Spreadsheets are made up of a number of these
What are formula ?
Math equation that is used to link two or more cells
What is conditional formatting ?
allows cells to be shaded a particular colour if a specific criteria is met
What is a template ?

can macros be used in spreadsheets ?
yes
What is data modelling ?
uses mathematical formulas and calculations on data to predict outcomes for situations
How are spreadsheets used for data modelling ?
they can be used by companies to make better informed decisions
