What is socialization?
Process by which we learn the ways of society and the ways of particular groups
Human nature
In 1920’s was believed to be innate. Live out the script given them. Sociology challenged that idea.

Locked up in a room for many many years no human interaction or love. she had no communication skills - freed at 13 cannot walk straight up, cannot communicate, not house trained, defecates on the floor, eats with her hands. Because she was denied love and affection, she will never be able to have a normal life. Without love and affection, she did not grow physically. Stunted in all areas.

Was deeply loved and cared for. First 5-6 years live life as family pet. Deaf blind mute. Learned sign language. Champion of blind and deaf community. University educated. She was a feral child
Brain tumor pedophile and violent man
When they took the brain tumor out, his behavior changed back to normal.
Certain set of genes causing 888% more chance of violent crimes.
14,000/15,000 murders were committed by those with that certain set of genes.
