Chapter 4 - Quantum Questions And Answers Flashcards
Difference between regular wave and wave of possibility
Waves are periodic disturbances that either travel or stay in one place, quantum wave can’t be seen in manifestation
Example of possibility wave
Electron that can spread all over town but in possibility only. Probability high in some places and low in others, forming bell curve
Standing wave
Musical notes from guitar string begin as standing wave
Example of standing wave as possibility
Electron in atom
Electron source
Form bulk of matter, especially in metal. Can get free electrons from metal by shining light on it, photoelectrons. Can also free from metallic bond by heating.
Coherent superposition
Waves are superpositions of simple waves, known as sine waves. Electrons waves
Interconnectedness
All things are potentially interconnected, occurs via consciousness. Can correlate two objects or brains via intention and collapse similar activities in both
Uncorrelated electrons
Separate and independent, possibility waves not phase related. After correlated electrons are collapsed they become Uncorrelated
How long do electrons remain correlated
Two ways to affect relationship:
If two interact with a third, their relationship expands to a correlate relationship involving three objects.
If you want to wipe out completely you have to collapse possibility wave of electrons by measuring them.
Consciousness
Ground of being, cannot be defined in words
