Gunas
Indian psychology recognizes three qualities that can be interpreted as unconscious drives.
Tamas - sliggishness and inertia; behavioral conditioning
Rajas - fickleness and restlessness, libido, drives us to acquire material prosperity and power for sake of survival and security
Sattva - illumination, drive toward creativity, drive to make unconscious conscious.
