What is Project Integration Management?
The processes and activities used to identify, define, combine and unify the various other processes and activities. Essentially, it’s not as much an umbrella of all the processes, but the technique with which they integrate with each other throughout the project.

What is an SOW and what is it an input for?
The project Statement Of Work is a narrative description of products, services or results to be delivered by a project. It is an input for the Project Charter.
What is a Business case and what is it an input for?
The business case or similar document describes the necessary information from a business standpoint to determine whether or not the project is worth the required investment. It’s an input for the project charter.
What factors go into a business case?
Market Demand, Organizational need, Customer request, Technological Advances, Legal Requirements, Ecological Impacts, and Social Needs.
What are other terms for a contract?
MOU’s, SLA’s, Agreements, Letters of Agreement, Letters of Intent, etc.
What does MOU stand for?
Memorandum of understanding
What does SLA stand for?
Service level agreement
What is the Project Management Plan?
The document that described how the project will be executed, monitored, and controlled. It integrates and consolidated all of the subsidiary plans and baselines from the planning processes.
Can a Project Management Plan be edited and changed after it has been baselined?
Only when a change request is generated and approved through the ‘Perform Integrated Change Control’ process.
What is the difference between corrective action and preventive action?
Corrective action is an intentional activity that realigns the performance of the project work with the project management plan, whereas preventative action ensures the FUTURE performance is aligned.
What is the CCB?
The Change Control Board is responsible for approving change requests during the ‘Perform Integrated Change Control’ process.
What is a change log?
A change log is used to document changes that occur during a project.
