Affect
have an affect on; move emotionally
Affective commitment
relates to how much a employee wants to stay at their organization. ( 1 of the 3 types of organizational commitment)
Attitude
a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something. Typically one that is reflected in a persons behavior.
Cognitive dissonance
The state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.
Cognitive moral development
Moving through stages of maturity with regard to making ethical decisions.
Continuance commitment
Organizational commitment based off the fact that the person can’t afford to leave.
Emotions
A natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.
Emotional contagion
is the tendency for two individuals to emotionally converge.
Ethical behavior
tends to be good for business and involves demonstrating respect for key moral principles that include honesty, fairness, equality, dignity, diversity and individual rights.
Instrumental values
can be defined as specific methods of behavior.
Job satisfaction
a feeling of fulfillment or enjoyment that a person derives from their job.
Machiavellianism
a person who schemes in a Machiavellian way.
Normative commitment
is the commitment of an employee towards his/her organization when they fell that they “ought” it to their organization to continue working there.
Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB)
is a person’s voluntary commitment within an organization or company that is not part of his or her contractual tasks.
Social learning
theory is the view that people learn by observing others
