Product owner
designated person that represents the customer on the project; in XP product owner = customer
Agile PM/Scrum Master/Agile coach
manages the Agile project, primarily as a facilitator
Product backlog
project requirements from the customers
Sprint planning meeting
used to plan the work that is getting done (Scrum)
Sprint backlog
work the team selects to move to the next sprint, not being done in the current sprint
Sprint
a short iteration where the project teams work to complete the work in the spring backlog
Daily standup
a quick daily meeting to discuss project statuses, led by the Agile PM
XP
Extreme Programming
similar to Scrum but with slightly different terms
Sprint review
an inspection done at the end of the sprint by the customers
Retrospective
meeting done to determine what went well and what went wrong during a sprint;lessons learned for a sprint
Release
several sprints worth of work directed to operations for possible rollout and testing

minimum viable product
