A Nutrient is a chemical substance found in food that is needed by the body for survival and well-being
What is a Diet?
A Diet is the amount of food and liquid a person uses with a proper nutrient balance

What are the 6 classes of nutrients?
The six classes of nutrients include carbohydrates, fat, protein, vitamin, minerals, and water

Glucose or Carbohydrates

Simples

Bad Fat

What is Protein?

Why is water important ?
Water is essential to the survival of an individual, and is also considered the essential nutrient for life
How much water should you drink each day?
At least 8 cups of 8oz per day, close to 2 liters of water per day. (1 oz is equal to 30cc or ml)
