Parallel lines
Lines that don’t intersect and are coplanar
Skew lines
Lines that don’t intersect and are not coplanar
Transversal
A line that intersects two or more coplanar lines at different points
Perpendicular lines
Two lines that intersect to form a right angle
Corresponding angles
Two angles that are formed by two lines and a transversal and occupy corresponding positions
Alternate interior angles
Two angles that are formed by two lines and a transversal and lie between the two lines and on opposite sides of the transversal
Alternate exterior angles
Two angles that are formed by two lines and they transversal and lie outside the two lines on opposite sides of the transversal
Consecutive interior angles
Two angles that are formed by two lines and a transversal and lie between the two lines and on the same side there transversal
