What are the 8 training methods
Circuit, continuous, interval or high intensity training,fartlek,static stretching,weight,plyometric,high altitude.
What is continuous training
It is when you work for a period of time without rest.
What is fartlek training
It invokes period of fast work with intermittent periods of slower work.
What is weight training
The use of weights to cause adaptation of the muscles (make them bigger)
Plyometric training, what is it.
It is high impact exercises that teach the muscles to perform their maximum contraction.
What are the components of fitness
Agility,balance,cardiovascular endurance,coordination,flexibility,muscular endurance,power,reaction time,strength,speed.
What is the definition of the word health
A state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
What is the definition of the word fitness
The ability to meet, or cope with, the demands of the environment.
