The critique
Is the process of critical appraisal in which a person objectively and critically evaluate a research reports content
Problem statement
Research questions are usually generated first from situations or problems that emerge from practice
Research question
Represents the idea that is to be examined in the study and just the foundation of the research study
Independent variable
Usually symbolize by acts it is the variable that has the presumed effect on the dependent variable
Dependent variable
Represents the Y it is often referred to as the consequence or their presumed the fact that varies with the change in the independent variable
Testable
Measurable by quantitative methods
Purpose
The purpose of the study encompasses the amp or a draft of the investigator hopes to achieve with the research, not the question to be answered.
Hypothesis
Is a statement about the relationship between two or more for variables that suggest an answer to the research question
Statistical hypothesis
Also known as the null hypothesis there is no relationship between the independent independent variables
Directional hypothesis
Specifies the expected direction of the relationship between independent and dependent variable’s
Nondirectional hypothesis
Indicates the existence of a relationship between the variables it does not specify the anticipated direction of the relationship
A clinical question
A clinical question has five components one)population two)intervention three) comparison four) outcome and five) time
Peer reviewed journal
Has a panel of internal and extra no reviewers who review submitted manuscripts for possible publication
Primary sources
That is articles and books by their original author
Secondary sources
Which are published articles or books that are written by persons other than the individual who developed the theory or conduct a research study
