What is the Force Field Analysis?
A
Developed by Kurt Lewin (1948).

What does the FFA consist of?
A
- Identify all the forces promoting the change and counteracting the change
- Change the balance of these 2 forces so that the promoting forces are heavier than the counteracting ones
- Generally better to first remove the forces that lead to resistance because simply increasing +ve forces may result to increase in -ver forces as well

What are the fundamentals of Time Management as developed by John Adair (1987)? (10 steps)
A
- Develop a sense of personal time - Keep a time log to know how you waste your time
- Identify long-term goals - Gives you purpose and direction
- Make middle-term goals - To achieve long-term goals
- Plan the day - What you MUST, SHOULD and MIGHT do (Prioritise)
- Make best use of your time - Understand when you work best
- Organise office work - Organise your physical space free from distractions
- Manage meetings effectively - prepare before your virtual meetings
- Delegate effectively - Can’t delegate uni work but other work can be delegated
- Make use of committed time - “Committed time” = time given to work you MUST do. Use time to study while waiting at hairdressers
- Manage your health - don’t overwork yourself
