How to Prepare? (7 steps)
A
- Set long-term/short-term goals
- Goal setting starts with knowing yourself
- Make goals realistic and attainable
- Set goals that show measurable change (e.g increase marks by 10points)
- Ensure your goals involve behaviour over which you have control.
- Take ownership of your goals
- Your short-term goals should be related to your long-term goals.

Motivate yourself! Motivation = inner psychological power that fuels behaviour Effort is the cause of success 1. Take responsibility of your failures and successes 2.Positive thinking 3.Accept you can't control everything Believe you have power over what happens Don't make excuses

A
Assess what you’ve achieved with your planned goals
- Take time to congratulate yourself
- Compare what you’ve accomplished with goals you had set
- Evaluate your accomplishments as you were your respected instructor
- Evaluate what you have done as your current instructor
- Be fair to yourself
- Revise your work based on your evaluation

A
Process or reanalysing, questioning and challenging underlying assumptions
- Reanalyse and review how you accomplished the task
- Question the outcome
- Identify your underlying assumptions and challenge them
- Consider alternatives rejected earlier
