What is asthma?
Is a condition caused by inflammation of the airways when exposed to particular triggers causing difficulty in breathing
What is diabetes mellitus?
Is a chronic condition where the pancreas does not produce enough insulin and the body doesn’t regulate glucose correctly.
What is arthritis and musculoskeletal condition?
Include over 100 conditions that affect the muscles, joints which may result in the loss of strength in bones and muscles.
What is dementia?
Describes the symptoms which result in the progressive loss of higher-level mental functions such as memory loss
What is Cancer control?
Number of conditions where the abnormal growth of cells occur and damage parts of the body.
What is obesity?
Is the carrying of excess body weight in the form of fat. Imbalance of food intake and exercise levels.
What is mental health
Is more than the mere absence of mental illness. Eg. anxiety and depression
What is injury prevention and control?
Takes both proactive and reactive actions with regard to unexpected incidents such as falls, workplace injuries.
What is cardiovascular health?
Refers to the functioning of the heart and blood vessels. Common forms are heart disease, stroke
