What is a tetrameter? What is a dimeter? What is an iambic foot? And what is a trochaic foot?
Tetrameter means there are four metrical feet per line, whereas dimeter means there are only two metrical feet per line. An iambic foot is a sequence of two syllables with the first unstressed and the second stressed. A trochaic foot is also a sequence of two syllables, but the first is stressed and the second is unstressed.
