Simple diagram:
A diagram consisting of a single premise and a single conclusion.
Independent premises:
Premises are independent when the falsity of any one would not nullify the support the others give to the conclusion.

Reveals the occurrence of independent premises.
Dependent Premises:
Dependent premises work together to support a conclusion.

Reveals the occurrence of dependent premises.

Shows a single premise used to support independent conclusions.

Shows a conclusion from one argument that becomes a premise in a second argument.
