What is alcoholic hallucinosis? Differentiate from DT
refers to hallucinations (usually auditory, sometimes visual/tactile), occuring either during or after a period of heavy alcohol consumption. Patients usually know these are not real…as opposed to DT where sensorium is markedly clouded and vital signs are unstable
